Recreate this easy dish in no time! The robust flavors are sure to please those nights when you want something quick, easy, and filling but sans the canned tomato stuff;) Pair this with soup or salad and you will have a complete meal!
Ingredients:
- 2 cloves of garlic - minced
- 1/4 cup of white wine
- 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of vinegar
- 1/4 lemon
- 1 teaspoon of garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- red pepper flakes to taste
- 1/2 pound of uncooked pasta (1/2 a package)
- 1/2 cup of cherry tomatoes - halved
- 1 tablespoon of of light margarine
Instructions
- cook the pasta until desired tenderness, drain, and set aside
- on medium heat, add oil to medium size pot
- add minced garlic and saute until golden
- reduce heat to low add the wine slowly
- squeeze the lemon into the sauce, add vinegar, garlic salt, garlic powder, pepper, and red pepper flakes
- leave on low heat for 5 minutes until the sauce reduced by half
- add pasta and tomatoes, margarine.
- Stir until margarine is melted and pasta and tomatoes are coated
