I hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far and the weekend is only a few short days away... yippee!
Well it was my BFF's birthday a few days ago and it was tough deciding on what to get a girl who well...has it all! Her lovely boyfriend decided on getting her an iPad for her birthday... lucky girl! What better way to accessorize her new gadget than with a darling iPad cover? An iPad cover that looks like a clutch! A nice durable corduroy fabric and finished with a yellow sunflower button...so cute! The inside lining is a Debbie Mumm print which always adds that touch of whimsical charm. Now her iPad will be protected and lookin' pretty stylish as well! Yay!
I didn't use a pattern again as I find all the pieces a bit intimidating. I used two equal sized pieces of fabric, compressed fleece to give it padding, and a fusible interface ...Voila! Easy! Within an hour it was completed. It should have taken me less time but I don't own an iPad so I had to research the dimensions. Also, I had to hand stitch the button and look so that took a bit more time!
