Happy 2014 everyone! To start it off right, I finally tried making a beet smoothie for the first time! I also added arugula, spinach, banana, frozen mixed berries and a half cup of apple juice. Blended it all up and voila! It tasted pretty yummy and happy to start my day with such a healthy smoothie. I always feel so much better after I finish a tall glass!I hit the gym today too. I did a 40 minute brisk walk and felt great afterwards. I ran a few days ago, but it gave me the worst lower back pain so I am going to stick to water activities or walking because they are low impact. I hope to keep this up as my resolution and make more blog entries... I'd love to promise myself to write an entry a day, but once a week is my more realistic goal. And if I write more, fab!
